
IP 40e
ESI’s IP E-Class systems- the IP 200e and the smaller IP 40e -
include all the voice and message capabilities of traditional digital
phone systems, but in anIP platform that uses your LAN/WAN for one-wire
connectivity of all your business phone extensions, wherever they
are.
Scalability
- IP E-Class can grow from an entry-level IP 40e system (up
to 30 Å~
28 Å~ 6), to a fully loaded IP 200e system (up to 66 Å~
96 Å~ 30).
E-Class can handle up to 30 analog station ports and up to 96
Feature Phones; additionally, it can support up to two T1 or
PRI high-bandwidth lines.
- Ultra-high-speed packetized voice communication (IP)
E-Class can work with either 10Base-T or the much faster 100Base-T,
or in a combined 10/100Base-T network.
- Powerful voice mail capabilities
The integrated voice mail system includes 16 always-available channels
and includes ESI’s exclusive Quick Groups, Quick Move and Virtual
Mailbox Key features. Your ESI Reseller can also provide ESI’s
innovative Esi-Mail unified messaging.
- Extensive phone options
- ESI Digital Feature Phone, 24-Key or 48-Key (IVX only)
- ESI 48-Key IP Feature Phone - Connects via LAN
- ESI 48-Key Remote IP Feature Phone - Connects via WAN
or Internet.

Some examples include ESI’s enhanced Caller ID, live call
recording and screening, ACD, Esi-Dex speed-dialing, built-in
message-on-hold and Verbal User Guide.
- Esi-Link (multi-site) support
Multiple systems can be interconnected across an enterprise’s
dedicated WAN, creating virtually seamless connectivity among
multiple offices. While some competing systems are unable to
provide more than bare-bones phone features in such arrangements,
IP E-Class distant extensions operate across your Esi-Link network
as though they were local, providing one-button dialing, simplified
call transfer, conference calling, and message sharing.
- Remote Feature Phone capability
With the rapid growth of DSL and other broadband services, fully
functional Remote IP Feature Phones can be deployed to small
remote locations such as local sub-offices or teleworkers’ desktops
at home.
